I've just stumbled upon this site, formspring.me,and I got intrigued because it's about:

So,I thought, why not?,and I've signed up.I've set up a special section at the side of this blog...so go ahead. But then, there's one concern that really bugs me.Minutes after I've completed my registration,I've received a non-related question that came through the inbox.

..yes,I'm talking about spam here.I had a feeling it's going to be sooner or later, but I'll guess I'll to deal with that nuisance manually.Sigh.

I got sick for the first time in this brand new year.Yeah, yeah,I know some of you are like,"Bleh..you are just mildly ill, that's all."

Obviously,you don't get what I meant,uh? Haha.Pity you. http://www.emocutez.com

It happened this afternoon while I was meddling with my laptop.Suddenly,I felt something pretty weird. It's something hot flowing out from my nose.I thought it was those evil mucus.Neh,I got a nose bleed.

Disclaimer: The picture below is not me.Me+wearing dress = NO WAY,Jose.

I got a nose bleed.

I know I was fussing around, but this is the first time I got flu+nose bleed, and then diagnosed with fever.Does anyone of you got similar symptoms?

I'm heading to the supermarket after this. Many thanks to my friends,@roswellgirl and @dreamfight3r for suggesting on what shall I have for tonight's dinner:

Have a great Sunday,everyone.

Damn,WHY are you doing this to me?!

[random] Happy belated Birthday (last Jan 20th) to Kim Jung Hoon (aka John-hoon),Rob Bourdon & Aoi (from the GazettE)

To whom it may concern,

You know what,it wasn't by accident that I caught you red-handed.I guess,by all probability,it was your bad karma. And there,I was shocked that you copied portions of my blog entries into your blog. And that made me sad. Why,you, why?

And so,I decided not to let my angst blinded my common sense.Lemme give a two cents worth a piece of opinion here.I'm all aware that I'm yet to achieve a status like some of A-list bloggers, like Darren Rowse, and celebrity bloggers such as Perez Hilton or Stephen Fry...but,it doesn't mean that you have to act like a blogging noob and 'snagging' portions of my blog? Come on,you...you know and conscious that you are smart (enough).Alright,if I'm a some sort of a Internet celebrity,I will gladly on taking actions, like:

a) file a suit against you for a hefty sums of money, after that
b) make sure that your blog/website get kicked off from your hosting provider, and most likely
c) posting your humiliation all around the blogosphere.

If you want the whole world to hear your inner voice (if that's your intention),please be yourself.

I've checked with my parents yesternight. They have confirmed that I don't have any long-lost siblings,or some unidentified 'other half'/twins when I was born circa 23 years ago (I'll be 24 soon, this coming February, just so you know). And that means, there is 0.000001% possibility that you and I sharing the connection of typing the same sentences/phrases/opinions/reviews at a particular time.

I am very honored to have a fair share of my thoughts to be noticed out there, but I'm least to expect that anybody would duplicate it and claim it as theirs.Let's make a peace treaty now, shall we? If you want to share any of my blog entries with your readers/viewers...that's fine, provided that you inform me beforehand AND give me full credit. That is why my blog has the comment section at the very end of each post.Yes,do speak your mind, please.

Lemme make your life easier on the crediting part, okay? I've provided some of the HTML codes for you to copy and paste in your entries.Feel free to choose any of the ones that you like.

...one more thing, this matter also includes but not limited to you that hot-linked my photobucket-hosted pictures, blindly claimed any of my designs/resources as yours and replicating my blog's source codes upon yours (without prior permission).Yeah,I suggest that you:

a) do something good about it,or
b) do your prayers and hoped that I won't accidentally come across your blog/site and make your whole life become more miserable till you die.Pronto.

Yours sincerely,

Better late then never,no? My first FF for this year!

Photobucket

1. The lesson I learned yesterday was "there are some time,in some situation,it would be better if we observe.Just observe".

West Potomac Park

2. In my opinion, public places such as parks are the best option where friends and family (can) meet.

Aunt Lay Leong's Nasi Lemak

3. All these years I should have remind myself to enjoy nasi lemak while it is still (cheaply) affordable. (What had happened,Angela? Well,my favorite (nasi lemak+telur goreng+sosej black pepper+extra sambal) had already costs extra 40 cents.) Photobucket

4. The first thing I would do is switching on my laptop when I arrived (home, that is).

Sometimes a Spy gets Spied!!! Spy shot of me & my bazooka lens *Lol

5. The truth is ,I'd really like to dissect the deepest thoughts of you. (Yes,YOU.)

6. Some of the recent surprising coincidences is what I remember most from that day.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to (Friday just passed), tomorrow (today,Saturday) my plans include doing my assignments and Sunday, I want to relaxiiinnggggg! Photobucket

Ohh-hai-you! + Thursday Thirteen #6: Albums I listened in 2009

[random] I wanted to go to Ne-yo's concert tonight -_-
[listening to] the matrix ost

say hello to 2010

*wipes dusts on her blog*

I hope it's not too late to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you! I've celebrated the coming of this new decade with my family, eating KFC while watching the countdown concert on tv. What about you?

So yeah..here's the brand new year,so what's my resolution, you ask? Hmm,after some nifty thoughts,I've decided on these ones:
  • better anger management (note to self: a fake Death Note won't work in an instant,Angela. You're not Mikami Teru.)
  • lose those weight! Lemme rephrase that.I wanna get skinny! Photobucket (For real this time..with a very good reason to do so)
  • be more passionate in everything I do (yes,I'm heartless sometimes)
  • explore more on Shibuya-kei/acid jazz/electronica genres
  • FEEL GOOD.
  • maximize the usage of sunscreen and umbrella while dealing with the hot sun
  • learn a new language?

Here goes my own list before I'm ending this first decade of the millennium. Before we go much further, some of you might ask,how do you come up with the list,Angela? Well,it was rather convenient that I was able to listen to these releases,as I know there are lots more out there.I decided not to be very specific on the genres of the album that made into the lists, and by that, living in a pop culture environment doesn't necessarily mean that I 'indulged' or 'feeding' my brains with the so-called teen sensation and/or the specific in-thing 24/7.

Oh yea,I would love to know your recommendations too.Yup,feel free to do so,who knows,I might have missed something cool all these years, heheh.

Alright,to the lists everyone!

thursday13
Thirteen 2009-released albums that I have listened

1. Mandy Moore - Amanda Leigh

Photobucket

I've been a fan of Mandy during the pop era,and I'm not afraid to admit that I do have some favorites by her, well, for the sole reason that I was relieved to hear the 'alternatives' to Britney and Christina. As for now, when I read the initial summary that this album is more 'adult contemporary'..yup,she got me intrigued. And so,after I've listen to this album,I could safely say this is an easy-listening one.A new kind of easy-listening.My cup of tea all these years were Corrine Bailey Rae's self-titled album (2006) and Alex Chu's (of Clazziquai Project) solo project,My Vintage Romance (2008).Maybe if Mandy would come up with a follow-up to this one..most probably I'll get used to it.

Take a listen to: "Pocket Philosopher", "I Could Break Your Heart Any Day Of The Week", "Song About Home","Nothing Everything"

2. Susan Boyle - I Dreamed A Dream

Photobucket

Whoa,Susan! I LOVE her voice! And listening to this album of hers, kinda puts me into a state of heavenly.Serious.Her rendition of Madonna's "You'll See" is just amazing! Now I wished that she could be my vocal coach, for the fact that I'm a closet singer, heheh.Furthermore,I hope she could do remakes of Madonna's (yet again) "Take A Bow", and Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart"..just to name a few.

Take a listen to: "I Dreamed A Dream", "Cry Me A River", "You'll See", "Who I Was Born to Be"

3. Hoobastank - Greatest Hits

Photobucket

Oh yea,I "Whoa!" again. But this time,I never expected that these guys would do a greatest hits. They've been in my winamp playlist for a long time, really.

Take a listen to: "Crawling In The Dark", "Inside Of You", "The Letter" (feat. Anna Tsuchiya), "Did You"

4. G-Dragon - Heartbreaker

Photobucket

I was amazed by this dude, really. As he's highly creative in songwriting skills, not to mention his dressing sense too (check out his MVs in YouTube).Well, you'll either hate him,or like him.Whatever.

Take a listen to: "Breathe", "Heartbreaker", "Gossip Man" (feat. Kim GunMo), "The Leaders" (feat. Teddy & CL)

5. the GazettE - DIM

Photobucket

Their latest masterpiece.Only two words to describe them: "ROCK ON!"

Take a listen to: "THE INVISIBLE WALL", "DIM SCENE", "IN THE MIDDLE OF CHAOS", "A MOTH UNDER THE SKIN"

6. U2 - No Line On The Horizon

Photobucket

Well,I could safely assume that their music is something you might want to listen to while you're doing your assignment(s).

Take a listen to: "No Line on the Horizon","Stand Up Comedy", "Moment of Surrender"

7. Mando Diao - Give Me Fire

Photobucket

Oozing of the catchy-ness.Yup,very catchy till there's a point I found myself moving my head to their tunes all the time while I was waiting for the bus,or even I'm in the bus.Gawd, does anyone of you heard/a fan of of the band Hot Hot Heat? I felt the same kind of feeling through their Make Up The Breakdown (2002) album...even though the guys of HHH had most of their songs in less than three minutes, heh.

Take a listen to: "Dance With Somebody", "Gloria", "Come On Come On", "You Got Nothing On Me", "The Shining" - I chuckled for about, 2-3 minutes when I first heard this.

8. The Rasmus - Best Of 2001-2009

Photobucket

Yup,another compilation on the list.I love this band since "In The Shadows",but unfortunately,I wasn't able to keep myself updated on their music after that.Thank goodness,I was waiting for an album like this.

Take a listen to: "In The Shadows","No Fear", "Livin' In A World Without You", "Justify","Ghost Of Love"

9. Utada - This Is The One

Photobucket

Her venture into R&B,slow-jam and occasional dose of hip-hop.In fact,I also liked her English debut,Exodus (2004) in which she experimenting with sorta-like electronica.Interestingly enough, prior to the release of this album, most of the blog reviews/and some blog comments (I've came across) on this album are more or less-likely,contemplating over the album cover.Like,"the fonts used are way too simple".Well,if you have any thoughts on this, feel free to share it with me.

Take a listen to: "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence -FYI", "Apple And Cinnamon", "Come Back To Me", "Me Muero"

10. BoA - BoA

Photobucket

Yay for her first (debut) English album! Overall, this album is what you can expect from the usual pop album. But still,I get can't the awesomeness of the dance steps in "Eat You Up" and "Energetic" out of my head.

Take a listen to: "I Did It For Love" (ft Sean Garrett), "Energetic", "Eat You Up", "Did Ya"

11. Clazziquai Project - Mucho Musica,Mucho Punk & Mucho Beat

Photobucket

Whoa,a triple album-release?! Well, you're almost correct.Actually,it's a two-and-a-half kind.Mucho Musica are mostly in English, except for the track "Tell Yourself" which is in Japanese. In Mucho Punk, the tracks are in Korean (version of Mucho Musica),with additional three new songs. As for Mucho Beat, they've added..another three more new songs.Safely said,I think DJ Clazzi is doing some experiments with the sounds of the 80's.After listening to these albums over and over again....seriously,I'm in love.Haha.

Take a listen to: "Kiss Kiss Kiss", "Love Again", "Tell Yourself", "The Road", "Chocolate Truffles", "Affection", "Sarang kkeuteh", "Lazy Sunday Morning", "Rapunzel", "Ping", "Lalala"

12. Ibadi - Songs For Ophelia

Photobucket

Ibadi is a solo project by Horan of Clazziquai Project.A follow-up to her debut Story Of Us (2008),this one is a mini-album.Nonetheless,her songs never fails me on a daily basis.Oh,for the curious, her involvement in Ibadi are different, well, her musical direction are more towards folk-alternative,indie,and ballad.Come to think of it,I had a feeling that Scarlett Johansson was trying to attempt a similar one through her 'Anywhere I Lay My Head'. Believe it or not, listening to Scarlett's album was one of the craziest thing I've ever done in my entire life. (ps:listen at your own risk.)

Take a listen to: "Secret Waltz" (feat. Lee Seung Yeol), "Tanya", "Curtain Call"

13. Eisblume - Unter dem Eis

Photobucket

I swear,I came across with this album under the genre of rock...but I can't recall where and when.Hahaha.But then,Wikipedia quoted them as "a German pop band",based on the reference of the amazon.de.I have listened to the album before I stumbled the Wikipedia page though.Eisblume sounds like,Within Temptation.Aha,before you jump into any conclusions, they do remind me of Within Temptation (musically) in between, but the voice of the frontwoman,Ria is like an innocent angel.Waaaay different than Sharon den Adel's.

Take a listen to: "Eisblumen", "Überleben", "Hoffnung (Interlude)", "Stern", "Unter dem Eis"

ETA: I've also managed to listen to these other 2009-released albums:

i) 2PM - 1:59PM
ii) Brown Eyed Girls - Sound G S.I.G.N
iii) Big Bang - Asia Best 2006-2009
iv) Tommy heavenly6 - I KILL MY HEART
