Yeah,I won't be going..serious.I'm catching up with a deadline here.It's matter of (my) life and death.

Just so you know,I'm not a fan of Super Junior (also known as SuJu),as compared to my apprehension for TVXQ or Big Bang.Or C.N.Blue.No,it's not that I loathed them...okay,if I do end up become a fan,I think I'll be lousiest fan ever.Why? Because the only SuJu member I know is the guy with the name of Kim Bum Kibum (thanks Anonymous!).I think I've forgotten how he looked like already.And my sister on the other hand,knows only the guy with the name of Dong Hae.

...and since SuJu consists of 14 (or was it 13,based on the pic below? Wait,aren't they used to be 14 of them?) members,I don't think I'll ever remember the other remaining ones.Pity me.And ironically enough,I have no problem in distinguishing the players of Germany's national football team.

 Who is who,which is which...I'm totally confuzzled.

But hey,I do admit on their superiority in the blogosphere of the K-pop world.Don't believe me? Okay,if you're blog-hopping through these K-pop blogsites next time,you will find a tag/category labeled 'Super Junior'.Yes,as there are lots of groups/bands emerged from time to time,I can assure you,these guys are seldomly left out.

As for today's featured song,I came across with it by accident.Okay,picture this...imagine a song entitled with your name (awwww,aren't you felt so honored?),sung by a group of guys you've least expected to do so (uh? Oh really?).That's how I really felt when I found out that SuJu had a song called "Angela"! What's even funnier,I didn't know about it until earlier this year (yes,early this year,mind you) even though a friend of mine had obtained a copy of their latest album (which includes that song) since last year...and she didn't tell me about it! Pffft.

The song,from Angela’s point of view: First of all,this song is oh-so-mushy-lovey-duvey.Ewwwwww. (muntah hijau sebentar,minta laluan) It gives me the creeps,okay.I'm least expecting a song as a 'tribute to my name' in that genre,sorta.I've done some homework on what the melody is based on,and here's what I've found:

This is an elegant medium tempo Britpop with lovely and sweet melody combined with a sad lyric, and it is a new song from the popular composer, Kenzie.

Lyrics-wise,from my point of view,it's about a guy that seems to be hiding his true feelings for his good friend,'Angela'.Looks like he's falling for her for quite a long time,and he's strugling with his inner self on whether to tell her/not telling her.In the end,he decided to witheld his thoughts,because he'd rather stay by her side.

The music video,from Angela’s point of view: Unfortunately,there's no official version available,so,which means this song wasn't released as a single.But you'll find some fan-made and live performances on Youtube,though.

dedicate this song to all SuJu fans,and to all the ladies with the name Angela.

The GazettE's DIM Review

Angela has posted about this album previously, but i feel like doing a review of Dim.
I came across The GazettE through Wikipedia, when I browse through the list of visual kei artists. From afar their style is similar to Nightmare, but both of the bands have their own signature which I can differentiate from one another; Nightmare has Hitsugi while The GazettE has Reita. In Sakito's (Nightmare member) biography,it stated that he become friends with Uruha from The GazettE. So, I decided to listen to The Gazette.





Hakuri
The sound of the drumbeat in this intro is very dark and mysterious and it reminds me of my favorite reality TV show “Ghost Adventures”. In the middle of this intro, I can sense anger and sadness at the same time. All in all, this intro is very catchy and, trust me; you would not want to skip this intro every time you play this album.

The Invisible Wall
The first thing that came into my mind when I listen to the first line of this song is that Ruki’s English has improved a little, as I can catch the words he sings , which is good. And I just love the part “sorrow made you………” Too bad this song is not one of their singles. Let me tell you, this song is just *AWESOME*!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Moth under the Skin
Catchy tunes to begin with , and I just love Ruki's voice when he sings the chorus. Definitely a true head-banging song, if you can't get enough of The Invisible Wall.

Leech
I don't really like the theory of using female voices as the background vocal. It'll be lovely if the four other members (Aoi, Uruha, Reita and Kai) become the background vocalist instead. However, the chorus is ok to me.

Nakigahara
I just love the music break between the verse and the chorus and I like the way Ruki sings "namida" 3 times during the chorus; he sounded so heartbreaking, I feel so sorry for him. Lol. This is my second favorite song after Guren.

Erika
This intro makes a cool yet simple caller ringtone. Lol.

Headache Man
I don't know what to say about this song……………….too noisy for my taste, I guess.

Guren
This is my *Number One* favorite song from this band. Catchy tunes, beautiful chorus, soulful voice, gothic mv, melodic instrumental background, cool guitar tabs…..if you don't know The GazettE yet, I strongly suggest you to listen to this song first. It's just *AWESOME*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shikyuu
There's no way (I really mean it) I'm gonna listen to this intro twice. It still lingers in my mind, and it sends chills down my spine.

13Stairs[-]1
Even though this song sounded messy, but I like it after I heard it a couple of times.

Distress and Coma
This song is similar to Leech, and I hope that in the future the four other members will be the background vocalists. And the chorus is less catchy compare to Leech.

Kanshoku
This song reminds me of Toshiro Masuda's "Sasuke's Theme". Hey, maybe I should use this intro as my ringtone.

Shiroki Yuutsu
This song is more to the pop-rock side, and it is still cool that it has a catchy tune, even without a touch of the typical The GazettE's heavy rock signature.

In the Middle of Chaos
The guitar intro sounded cool, it seems like a happy song to me, even though I don't know what the meaning of this song is. And instead of sounded like the typical J-rock song, this song sounded like the typical western rock to me. One of the must-listen tracks in this album.

Mourou
This intro is similar to Shikyuu……………man, I still can't get the supernatural thoughts out of my head........

Ogre
This song is similar to Headache Man, and it is a screamo type. Ruki sounds different when he screams. It's cool, to have a vocalist with many versions of voices!

Dim Scene
I love the intro of this song, it is sounded mysterious to me……the verse is cool and catchy, however the chorus is so-so.

This album is not bad to me. There are more good songs than less good songs in this album, and I'm glad about that. So, The GazettE, when is your next album? I can hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
